We have always enjoyed Nunzio's for our special occasions. Great food and great service. Deep fried shrimp was our choice tonight and did not disappoint.
Got an outstanding thin crust pizza to take out. Service and selection (great bourbons) in the bar while we waited was also excellent. We went back less than a week later. Same top notch experience. Next time I'm in Rockford this may be my first stop.
The Prime Rib is amazing! The whole meal was fantastic. We had a great server, a meal with good friends, and quaint restaurant setting. We even met new people on our way out. We will definitely be back!
First time guest - and it was so delicious- with very generous portions! My friend had the pasta and I had the boneless wings. Very good! The atmosphere is semi-casual, and our waitress was very attentive. We would definitely go back!
Large portions of excellent food. I had the linguini with stuffed shrimp and my wife had the eggplant parmesan. Both were very delicious. After filling up at the restaurant, our to go meals were enough to give us two additional meals. Definitely a place we will come back to.
Stopped in for dinner..ended up ordering a meat lovers pizza...was so good..lots of toppings and covered in cheese..crust was very good. Loved that when seated they start you off with a loaf of bread. This was nice to hold us over til meal came. The only thing I didn't like was the noise level. Was hard to hear and talk with my husband..maybe it's not like that all the time...Service was great and very friendly.. would definitely go back and try the pasta dishes.
Nunzios recently open for lunch and my friends and I went there yesterday. The menu for lunch is the same as the dinner right now, but our very friendly server answered our questions and said they were working on a specific lunch menu and hopefully in the future be able to add on an outdoor dining space. We had great meals and it was nice to get together with old friends on this cold day. Nunzios is always a welcoming establishment.
Always consistent with very generous portions. Their overall sauce is great and that is what keeps people coming back. Pizza has generous toppings and tasty. They are known for having Sinatra Style “bread crumbs” as an option for some of their offerings (steaks, baked cod). One of the better staples of Rockford / Loves Park
